The West Perry Mustangs came out ahead in most of the key swing matches to hand the Big Spring Bulldogs a loss in their home opener Thursday evening in Newville, 42-22.

The biggest swing occurred at 120 pounds, where West Perry freshman Blain Puchalsky edged Big Spring’s Logan Schmidt by a close 4-2 decision.
