Besides the local municipal and school board primary elections, voters will have the chance to weigh in on various county races and ballot referendums this May.   

Newville Borough residents will vote on whether they feel businesses should be allowed to obtain liquor licenses, effectively ending the decades-long prohibition on the sale of beer, wine and spirits within their borders, and turning Newville into a “wet” municipality.
