Never forget. Never forget the day time stood still in America as we all watched the planes hit the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. Never forget the heroic passengers of Flight 93 who opted to retake the plane and divert it from killing even more people in Washington, ultimately having the hijackers crash it into a field near Shanksville, killing everyone on board. Never forget those countless brave souls who ran into the collapsing towers to save as many people as they could, while giving their lives in the process. Never forget the names of those nearly 3,000 people who were killed. And never forget the bond that we all share from that fateful day.

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Attacks on America, the United States Army War College (USAWC) held a Commemoration Ceremony at the Army Heritage and Education Center in Carlisle on Saturday.
