Penn State Extension in Cumberland County is hosting a Pollination Day Camp led by 4-H Summer Assistant, Emily Stambaugh, from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the Cumberland County Extension Office, 310 Allen Road in Carlisle. This camp is free and open to all youth ages 7-11 (as of Jan. 1) to learn about the pollination process, pollinator species, and flowers used in pollination. Cumberland County 4-H is open to all youth ages 5-18, and has clubs for all interests, including cooking, art, outdoors, science, animals and leadership. Participation from all youth and their families is encouraged.
