The Shippensburg High School field hockey team gave it their all for 60 minutes, and even past the final buzzer to score a thrilling, emotional victory in their season finale over the Chambersburg Trojans Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Trojan Stadium.

The two neighbors and rivals fought back and forth until Lady Greyhound senior Mia Estep netted the game’s only goal with 4:16 remaining in the third quarter. That was all the offense that the visitors would need, as the ‘Hounds weathered a furious finish from the Trojans -- which included three consecutive untimed penalty corners at the end of regulation -- to hold on for a hard fought 1-0 win.
