The Shippensburg high school football team has dominated its opponents with the rushing attack during the regular season, and the Greyhounds continued that trend during their District 3 Class 5A opening round contest against New Oxford.

The No. 3 seeded ‘Hounds (11-0) posted a dominant first half performance against the No. 14 seeded Colonials (6-5), and senior running back Nathan Beam netted two rushing touchdowns to help the hosts coast to a 43-16 win Friday at Veterans Stadium.
