Hannah Marsteller

Shippensburg University softball first baseman Hannah Marsteller -- the nation’s leader in slugging percentage (1.103) and top five nationally in home runs (18), RBIs (64) and total bases (128) -- is the first Raider ever to be named D2CCA Player of the Year.

Shippensburg University softball sophomore Hannah Marsteller has been voted the 2021 Ron Lenz National Player of the Year, one of two top national honors on the 2021 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-America Softball Team.

Marsteller, who was also voted to the All-America First Team at first base, is the first Raider in school history named the Ron Lenz Player of the Year – an award that began in 2007. Voting and nominating for the D2CCA All-America teams is conducted by NCAA Division II sports information directors across the country.
