Shaniece Jackson, a 2016 graduate of Shippensburg University, is the first Black female hired as an athletic trainer by the Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson, who served as a seasonal intern with the Eagles in 2020, was recently named to the team’s full-time staff as an assistant athletic trainer.

The brand new Shippensburg University football locker room was unveiled to the team on Sunday afternoon, marking the first time that the players were able to step inside and experience the facility.
