Marion R. McMullen, 91, of Newburg, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Magnolias of Chambersburg.

Born Saturday, June 21, 1930, in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel A. and Marion A. Kitzmiller Orris.

Marion was of the Protestant Faith.

She was a 1948 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. Marion retired as a seamstress in 1992 from the former Greif Co., Shippensburg, with 43 years of service.

She is survived by two sons, Calvin J. McMullen, Alexandria, Virginia, and Jerry L. McMullen, Shippensburg; two sisters, Janet L. McBeth, Walnut Bottom, and Doris J. Feather, Hanover; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin J. McMullen Sr., who passed away Feb. 6, 1998; one sister, Anna Lee Norcross; and one daughter-in-law, Berneta Diehl McMullen.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., Shippensburg, with the Rev. Robert E. Stump officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

A viewing was held from 4 until 6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. A viewing will also be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday in the funeral home.
