The Newburg First Church of God teamed up with the Newburg Fire Police Saturday to hold a drive-through Easter event for area children. The pre-Easter event, sponsored by the Newburg Fire Police, has been held in Newburg for more than 50 years. Pictured above, at left, 4-year-old Dakota Martin was eager to meet the Easter Bunny Saturday. At right, Newburg Fire Police  members Larry Singer, Paul Bender and Ed Chamberlin happily greet area children and their parents to hand out Easter goodies at the event.
