Bigler's Hoagies

Jesse Killian, Suzanne Rhoades and Mary Waldt enjoy a few laughs near the end of the day Friday, after making more than 700 hoagies. The annual Bigler’s Hoagie fundraiser was held last weekend at the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren with more than 900 hoagies being sold over two days.

Who knew that after all these years the taste of a Bigler’s Hoagie would be something that people in Shippensburg still long for? Last weekend, beginning on Friday and running through noon on Saturday, Shippensburg Church of the Brethren hosted its fourth annual Bigler’s Hoagie sale that netted more than 900 hoagies being made and sold to people in the Shippensburg community.

“I am so pleased that everything went so well and that people in the community had the opportunity to enjoy yet another offering of Shippensburg’s past in the form of a Bigler’s Hoagie!” exclaimed Suzanne Rhoades.

Stopped by and picked up one on Friday. EXCELLENT!! Went back Saturday and you were already sold out. Next year, I will get two the first day. It was just like I remembered them. Very tasty. Congrats on your sale!!
