The Vigilant Hose Co. of Shippensburg was alerted to two different incidents of baby ducklings stuck in a storm drain Sunday.

Firefighters first found nine ducklings in a storm drain along with their mother waiting and quacking on Martin Avenue in Shippensburg Borough at approximately 7 a.m. The ducklings were rescued from the storm drain located at North Earl Street and Martin Avenue and placed into a bucket. They were then released onto a lawn where they were reunited with the mama duck.
