Three candidates are hoping to secure at least the Republican or Democratic nomination during the May 18 primary for the one available Shippensburg School Board District A seat.

Two of those candidates could advance to the general election, and be listed as one party’s choice for the four-year seat. However, one candidate could sweep both races on May 18, and put themselves in the driver’s seat come November.
