Shippensburg Art Market

The Shippensburg Art Market will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on the First Friday of each month from April to October, at The Fora, 10-16 E. King St. The first Art Market of the season starts this Friday. A number of vendors will sell their locally made wares, with Redemption BBQ selling food for hungry shoppers. Vendors include: Spray Art by Nate, Nellie Belle Designs, Speckled Sprouts, Book of Magic, Juuelzz by CJ, Little Country Soaps & Salts, 4 Herbs & 7 Spices Ago, Townsend Arts With Love, Shimmering Sips, Sweet Rollers, Country Creek Creations and Original Revolutions. Tiffany Weaver of the Art Market said, ‘The Shippensburg Art Market allows local artisans to highlight their talents and provides them a space to sell their products to the community. By holding the market in coordination with other First Friday events in Shippensburg, we are also helping to revitalize the downtown and get people out and active in the community. People can walk from the Shippensburg Art Market at the Fora to Shippensburg Station and visit the Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum, they can stroll downtown and visit local businesses, and they can end their night with a campfire at the Shippensburg Historical Society.’ To become an Art Market vendor, email: shipartmart@gmail.com. The Cumberland Shop, 16 W. King St., will have extended hours until 8 p.m. Friday. Come see live artisan demonstrations, make your own paper flower and shop ‘til you drop! Peruse other shops downtown and shop local this Friday in Shippensburg!
