The volunteer members of the South Newton Township Fire Co. hosted a drive-through fundraiser Saturday featuring their homemade turkey, ham and cheeseburger hoagies, chicken corn soup and ham and bean soup. The food items are normally on the menu during their Annual Fireman’s Fair.

Fire Chief Dan Burkett said, “We would like to thank everyone who came out here Saturday evening and supported our hoagie and soup fundraiser. The turnout was very awesome, selling 800 hoagies and many, many quarts of soup. At one time, we had over 100 vehicles in line waiting to order and pick up their food.  Thank you for your patience.”
