Big Spring School District is deeply immersed in Phase I of a significant technology upgrade, while embarking on Phase II of the program. Together with Questeq, a Pittsburgh-based education technology management company, the school district is upgrading its technology infrastructure, and district leaders are working with teachers to improve the way they approach professional development, evolve the curriculum and engage students.

The program began in March 2016, when the Big Spring School Board approved a contract to transition the district’s entire IT program to Questeq. Phase I in the school district’s technology overhaul was to right-size the technology department, and then to implement a more robust technology infrastructure.
