A garage and its contents in the 100 block of Coldspring Road in Dickinson Township were consumed by flames around 2:50 p.m. Friday.

Tim Yingst, fire chief of Citizens Fire Co. in Mount Holly Springs, said, “The garage was well engulfed in flames when we arrived on the scene. We had an exposure problem that included the home and a shed with the intense heat of the flames. We were able to extinguish and knock down the fire with the home sustaining some cracked windows only. It took about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control. The garage and its contents were a total loss. We remained on the scene for about two hours doing salvage and overhaul operations.”
