Julia Strine

Shippensburg junior Julia Strine won a District 3 gold medal and placed fourth in the state in the 100 breaststroke last season.

Already considered the best crop of swimmers in the history of Shippensburg high school girls swimming, the addition of freshman state medal contender Jillian Strine has made the team even more dangerous, giving the Greyhounds the potential for a history-making campaign in 2019-20.

The squad, which features two-time state medalist Julia Stine and returning state qualifiers Maddie Osanitsch and Makenna Morris, have set their sights on an all-out assault on the school record board and a state medal haul never before seen at Shippensburg.
