The U.S. ProMiniGolf Association has announced that Brad Lebo, 58, a dentist from Shippensburg, has been selected for induction into the USPMGA Hall of Fame. Lebo, currently playing in his 29th season as a touring pro in the sport of professional putting, will become the Hall of Fame’s 12th inductee.
During his career, Lebo has amassed 125 tour victories, over $161,000 in official earnings, and numerous accolades and honors. Lebo’s most significant titles include the 2006 Professional Putters Association (PPA) National Championship, 2008 USPMGA Masters, three USPMGA U.S. Open Championships (2006, 2010, 2015), 2007 PPA Southern Open, and 2008 PPA National Doubles Championship. Most notable among his career honors are the 2006 PPA National Player of the Year Award, 4 Virginia PPA Player of the Year Awards, 3 Great Lakes PPA Player of the Year Awards, and 2 North Carolina PPA Player of the Year Awards. Lebo’s national television appearances in the sport include a victory in the 1997 Putt-Putt Skins Game competition on ESPN. Lebo holds or has held numerous individual course records throughout the country and owned the 6-round PPA world scoring record from 2002-2005.
