The No. 1-ranked Shippensburg University field hockey team began their road to a possible fourth straight NCAA title with a pair of wins this past weekend over Belmont Abbey and Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina.

SU sophomore Jenna Sluymer was credited with a hat trick and junior Jazmin Petrantonio notched a goal and an assist on Saturday as the Shippensburg University field hockey team opened the season with a 4-0 shutout of Belmont Abbey.
