After leading the Greyhounds to a winning record, threatening for the Colonial Division title and obtaining a second consecutive playoff berth; six SASHS field hockey players have been named Mid Penn Conference All-Stars.

Midfielder Abby Rosenberry, midfielder Rachel Kline and forward Zoe Holtry were each named Colonial Division First Team All-Stars. Midfielder Rachel Crowder, midfielder Lexi Alleman and forward Kourtney Shoap earned Colonial Division Honorable Mention.

Holtry led the Hounds in goals scored with 15 to go along with 2 assists. Kline was the team's go-to on penalty corners, finishing with 10 goals and 7 assists.

Rosenberry (1 goal), Crowder (1 assist) and Alleman (2 assists) did most of their work defensively. Thanks to their defensive prowess, the Greyhounds allowed one goal or fewer in 11 of their 18 contests.

All six all-stars are seniors, leaving the Greyhounds (10-8, 8-4 Colonial) with big holes to fill next fall.

Crowder will continue her field hockey career at Division II Newberry College in South Carolina. Rosenberry and Shoap are both committed to play at Division III Wilson College in Chambersburg. Alleman will also attend Wilson to play both field hockey and softball.
