Carlos Carter

SU sophomore Carlos Carter soars in for two of his 13 points during the Raiders win over Bowie State Wednesday.

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team regained their shooting touch during a 2-0 week, moving to 3-1 on the season with non-conference wins over Bowie State and Wilmington Universities.

After scoring only 54 points and shooting 28.1-percent as a team in their Nov. 9 loss to Virginia State, the Raiders’ offense recovered to beat Bowie State, 81-68, on Wednesday night. The team made its first six shots of the game, building up a lead they would never give up.
