SU senior captain Luke Durkin plows forward for some tough yardage during the Red Raiders' Senior Day battle against nationally ranked IUP Saturday at Seth Grove Stadium.
IUP freshman and SASHS grad Adam Houser found the endzone in his return to Shippensburg as the Crimson Hawks soared past the Shippensburg University Red Raiders on Senior Day Saturday at Seth Grove Stadium, 54-24.
Houser broke a 64-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to cap the scoring for the No. 18 ranked Crimson Hawks (10-1). IUP piled up 580 yards of offense – averaging 9.8 yards per play – and scored six of their eight touchdowns on plays of 30 or more yards.Â
