The Shippensburg University women’s basketball team shot just 25 percent from the field in the second half on Saturday as it fell at West Virginia Wesleyan, 67-64, in a non-conference matchup from Rockefeller Center.

Shippensburg (2-1) opened the game on an 8-0 run and led by as many as 10 points before West Virginia Wesleyan (2-1) tied the game at 26-26 in the second quarter. The Raiders led by six at halftime, and by as many as 13 points early in the third quarter, but the Bobcats took the lead with 5:31 remaining and would not trail the rest of the way. The hosts scored 27 points in the final quarter.
