Luke Nedrow

SU sophomore Luke Nedrow was named the PSAC Eastern Division Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week after averaging 17.0 points per game against three regionally-ranked opponents (No. 9 UPJ, No. 7 Fairmont, No. 1 IUP), including a career-high 24 points in the Raiders' upset of No. 3 IUP.

Sporting an 8-3 record as they begin the second half of their season, many people would think that the  Shippensburg University men’s basketball team is right where they need to be. Head coach Chris Fite, on the other hand, wants to see more.

The Raiders have been a team that shoots the ball from 3-point range at a high rate while also priding itself on playing good defense. The team has the defense aspect of that down, as they are third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in opponent’s points per game, giving up 67.3 per night.
