There’s a tiny little mayfly that shows up like clockwork on our spring creeks on July 5 every year.

Its scientific name is Tricorythodes, but fly fishermen call it simply Trico or Tricos. There are males and females, nymphs, emergers, and duns, but fishermen seem to key on the spinner.
