We’ve been chatting about 2020 trips, but with the New Year, it’s probably time to do some serious planning. Winter solstice is behind us, although there’s a lot of winter still ahead.

Which is why I’m sitting in the easy chair closest to the fireplace, listening to the fire crackle with a lap full of maps and a few brochures.
