The south-central Pennsylvania area volunteers for Operation Christmas Child would like to express their thanks to the contributors, auctioneers, and most importantly, the attendees that made this year’s 12th annual Christmas Child Auction such a success.

Thanks to the efforts and generosity of so many people, this year’s auction raised $15,612. The auction proceeds will be used to purchase The Greatest Journey booklets, additional filler items and pay for the transportation costs associated with sending these shoebox gifts to needy children around the world.

Interested in golf? Why not “Tee Up for Needy Children?” Registration and fee information for the Shoe Box Golf Tournament is available by calling: (717) 977-1123, or emailing: ewoyer@comcast.net.

Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts transcend all barriers -- language, cultural, geographical, and political -- to give children the joy of a Christmas gift and the hope of the Gospel to millions of poor and suffering children all around the world.

Special thanks to the Mount Rock Church of Shippensburg for their support of this annual auction and ministry.
