You know, shelter dogs are kind of a specific breed. They can be the absolute best friend on the planet, but sometimes, it might take a bit of work to get there.

Our pups in the kennels tend to be quite easily excitable and have a great deal of energy. I have seen people come out to the shelter and immediately expect the dogs to sit and follow instructions. Nine times out of 10, it’s not going to happen.
