Zina Pintozzi

Zina Pintozzi, 94, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, in the Shippensburg Health Care Center.

She was born March 14, 1926, in Capu Canpului, Romania.  Zina was a daughter of the late Peter and Milexema Trifon.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church in Shippensburg.

Zina is survived by her husband of 43 years, Andrew Pintozzi Jr.; four children, Olga Gadomski of Shippensburg, Michael (Linda) Bermes of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Peter (Sandra) Bermes of Albany, Georgia, and Mary (Ron) Glunt of Redondo Beach, California; one sister, Felina of Romania; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Victor Bermes, and six siblings.

Funeral services will be privately held in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Remembrance Chapel. Officiating will be Father Dwight Schlaline.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
