Joyce F. Kyler Stouffer

Joyce Fay Kyler Stouffer, 90, of Shippensburg, entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 11, 2020.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1930, to Bruce and Jane Kyler.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 72 years, John C. Stouffer Sr. Together they had six children, Linda McCulloch (Bill), John Stouffer, Robert Stouffer (Shirley), Timothy Stouffer (Donna), and Pamela Roy (Duane).

Joyce is survived by 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Bill Kyler and Janis Wrobleski.

She was preceded in death by her son, Phillip M. Stouffer, and her siblings, Lee Kyler, Bob Kyler and Shirley Martin.

Joyce was the center of her family, making delicious dinners, pies and always had a pot of coffee or a glass of iced tea ready for you. She had many friends from her years of working at Chris’s Country Kitchen. She also babysat many children over the years, and was like a grandmother to those in her care.

Due to the coronavirus, we are not able to honor her in a way that we feel is appropriate. When we can get together as a family, we plan to share our love, memories, tears and laughter to help heal our hearts.
