Clifford L. Foore

Clifford “Cliff” Lynn Foore, 75, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at Harrisburg Hospital.

He was born July 16, 1945, in Chambersburg, the son of the late Allen M. Foore Sr. and Rosella (Seiler) Foore.

Cliff graduated in the Class of 1963 from Chambersburg High School.

He retired from James River Corp. after working as a pressman for 32 years. More recently, he worked as a driver for Advanced Auto for 10 years.

He was a member of VFW Post 6168 and the Hub City Club, both of Shippensburg, and Free and Accepted Masons Carlisle Lodge 260, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

In his spare time, Cliff enjoyed collecting coins, going to the casino and had a love for classic cars. He also enjoyed going to his grandson’s sports games and spending time with family.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cheryl (Pechart) Foore, of Shippensburg; two daughters, Shawna L. Bilger of Shippensburg, and Samantha M. Foore of Shippensburg; grandson, Dalton T. Foore of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters, Beatrice L. Russel, Hazel M. Carbaugh and Mabel J. Gabler, and three brothers, Allen M. Foore Jr., Donald R. Foore and another brother at birth.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., Shippensburg.

Celebration of Life Services for Cliff will be announced at a later date.
