A car horn going off in the middle of the night alerted police to a DUI in Newville borough June 30.
At 11:57 p.m., Newville police were on patrol and observed an individual laying down in a car and continuously sounding her car horn in the area of 4 West St. The officer approached the operator, who was identified as Jadon Keck of Harrisburg. Keck, 24, was slurring her words and smelled of alcohol. She explained that she drove to this location and remained in the car while she was arguing with her boyfriend. A Breathalyzer displayed a 0.2 percent blood-alcohol concentration. The legal limit is .08 percent.
