Cynthia Carolyn Black, no age given, was charged Tuesday with abuse of a corpse, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property for keeping her grandmother’s remains in a freezer in order to continue to receive her Social Security checks.

Pennsylvania State Police were called to 40 Kralltown Road in Warrington Township, York County, on Feb. 7, 2019, for a report of human remains in a freezer. The remains were later identified as Glenora Delahay.
