Pennsylvania State Police are looking for 16-year-old Octavian Perez who is now wanted in connection to the alleged sexual assault and attempted homicide of a 5-year-old girl.
Octavian was last seen in Bonneauville Borough in Adams County on Aug. 4, and was first thought to be a missing runaway.
During the investigation, police determined that he caused severe bodily injury to a 5-year-old girl, and is now wanted for attempted homicide, aggravated assault, indecent assault and strangulation.
According to court documents filed in the case, the girl told police that Octavian (who lives in the same house) put a pillow over her face and demanded that she touch his genitals. The girl eventually passed out, and when she woke up, her legs hurt and she couldn’t hear. The girl was treated for her injuries at an area hospital.
Documents also said a witness was driving to Maryland the next day with Octavian and noted that he seemed “distraught.” Octavian had reportedly been drinking alcohol the night before, and said at one point he became filled with anger, and believed he had killed the girl.
Anyone with information on Octavian’s whereabouts is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg at: (717) 334-8111 immediately.
