Pennsylvania State Police arrested a man for impersonating a police officer while conducting an investigation into a motor vehicle crash July 22 in the area of Lincoln Way West and Schoolhouse Road, Saint Thomas Township, Franklin County.

During the investigation of the crash, it was brought to the attention of troopers that there was a subject utilizing flashing blue lights on his vehicle and displaying Fire/EMS emblems and stickers. The individual, identified as Christopher Garrison, 28, of Chambersburg, is not a member of any Fire or EMS service, police said.
