It’s time to reflect on all we’ve experienced in 2015 and usher in a new year.

What better way to start off the New Year than to spend it with family and friends in downtown Shippensburg. The 16th annual Drop the Anchor Celebration will kick off at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at the square at King and Earl streets. Festivities will take place between Penn and Fayette streets that night, and a host of free family-friendly activities has been planned for visitors. Christ United Methodist will also hold its annual Open House to keep guests warm and filled with goodies.
