The Shippensburg Kids Events Committee, with the help of the Shippensburg Community Parks & Recreation Authority, continued to grow its annual holiday display at the Spring Lot Gazebo Park along West King Street last week. This year’s display includes a large Christmas tree inside the gazebo surrounded by candy canes, reindeer, polar bears, snowmen, marching men and the infamous ‘Grinch Who Stole Christmas,’ all to complement many bright holiday lights and other décor. Snoopy's doghouse will be a late addition to the current display that residents can expect to see assembled soon. The committee is always looking for additional decorations or artificial trees. If interested in volunteering, or donating decorations (or funds), email: ShipKidsEvents@gmail.com, or call: (717) 532-2188.
