Bob Kirchner and Cindy Mullen opened Big Bob’s Little Knife Shop & Gift Co-Op at 443 E. King St., previously home to Anything Kidz Consignment Store, over the summer. The store largely operates as a thrift store, and has begun giving back to local Shippensburg charities.

A newly opened local store has shifted its focus toward helping the community after its first few months in business.

Big Bob’s Little Knife Shop & Gift Co-Op at 443 E. King St. in Shippensburg, previously home to Anything Kidz Consignment Store, opened its doors this summer, primarily operating as a typical thrift store with donated clothes, furniture, household appliances, toys, electronics and other random knick-knacks found throughout an estimated 6,000 square feet of leased store space.
