Shippensburg Township staff found obscenities, vulgarities and other symbols spray painted on two pavilions at their public park Thursday morning.

The vandalism found at the park on Britton Road, reportedly included swastikas, curse words, unpleasant phrases and the name “Geoffrey” in green and red spray paint, supervisors said Saturday during a public meeting. A dead toad was also found at the scene.
