Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties (DVSCP) will host its annual Candlelight Vigil to honor and remember the women and children of Cumberland and Perry Counties who've lost their lives to these senseless acts of violence. The vigil will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Camp Hill Borough Building, 2145 Walnut St.

The event will commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month and will include three guest speakers - two brothers whose sister lost her life to domestic violence and a survivor who worked with DVSCP to rebuild her life. The Silent Witness Exhibit will be on display representing the domestic violence victims in Cumberland and Perry Counties. The candle lighting ceremony in their honor will be followed by a community reception with light refreshments.
