The Old Blind Dogs

The Old Blind Dogs will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Fort Hunter Centennial Barn, 5300 N. Front St., Harrisburg.

The Old Blind Dogs -- winners of the prestigious title of Folk Band of the Year at the 2004 and 2007 MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards -- come to Harrisburg for a Sept. 26 Susquehanna Folk Music Society concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Fort Hunter Centennial Barn, 5300 N. Front St., Harrisburg.

Since forming in Scotland in 1992, a strong shared musical vision has helped The Old Blind Dogs weather inevitable lineup changes to the extent that only one founding member is still with the group. They have released 13 studio albums and their latest CD, “Room With a View,” was shortlisted for Album of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards in 2017.
