The GB Stuart Foundation recently awarded a $25,000 grant to Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties (DVSCP) for a two-part shelter structural improvement project. Tasks being funded include repairing or replacing 45 shelter windows, as well as repairing and replacing portions of the exterior, which have begun to rot.

DVSCP selected Carlisle-based general contractor Cumberland Design and Building Inc., to complete the project. With a cost estimate at just over $100,000, this grant from GB Stuart was crucial for the agency to reach its fundraising goal.
