NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Supervisors of Southampton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, of its intention to consider for adoption and to vote upon the following proposed Ordinance at a regular meeting, open to the public, on Monday, December 9, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. prevailing time, said meeting to be at the Southampton Township Municipal Building, 200 Airport Road, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania 17257. In the event action is not taken at the aforesaid time, the Board may take action and vote upon said Ordinance at another public meeting not less than seven (7) nor more than sixty (60) days following the publication of this notice. Due to the length of the Ordinance, the entire text is not set forth herein. A summary of the principal provisions thereof is as follows: ORDINANCE NO. 2019-3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE SUPERVISORS OF SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, PROVIDING FOR A MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT OF 25 M.P.H. ON A CERTAIN SECTION OF SOUTHWOOD DRIVE FROM BALTIMORE ROAD TO CLARISSA DRIVE AND A PORTION OF WOODRIDGE DRIVE. If adopted, the Ordinance would provide for a maximum speed limit of twenty-five (25) miles per hour on a portion of Southwood Drive between S.R. 3001, known as Baltimore Road and Clarissa Drive, and on a portion of Woodridge Drive from Southwood Drive to West Clarissa Drive. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for examination without charge at the Southampton Township Municipal Building, 200 Airport Road, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania 17257.
